Love your body!
Take yourself back into love with an evening long yoga sadana which will help us cultivate self-care as an act of self love. The art of self care is a radical practice which allows us to slow down, nurture ourselves and enjoy the transition of winter into spring.

This workshop has a restorative yoga pranayama with experience of ultimate relaxation during the live sound savasana or sound bathing. Indulge in meaningful rest and soothing mental calm while being bathed by the meditative tunes of singing bowls.

After enjoy preparing raw food desert with Ayurvedic spices and a cup of home made chai ☕️

Spinal twist workshop is a yoga workshop with a twist

We will be making our own Khichdi(Ayurvedic detox and balance food) from scratch and enjoy the bowl of it at the end of the class with fresh herbs, ghee and vegan yogurt.

Twisting Poses will help you to restore your spines natural range of motion, cleanse your organs, stimulate circulation and a building block for tissue healing.

As a layer of your muscles and bones revolve deeply, your attention is drawn into the stable, unmoving center of the pose and this ability to stay centered as a hubbub of the world swirls around you, will pay obvious benefits in the yoga of daily living.

This will be a friendly, heart-opening and rewarding 2 hours workshop intro a series of postures that will help you bend, balance, and bend better using a new kind of yoga strap the “Buddhi Straps”are buckle-free, hassle-free, and come in 4 different sizes to accommodate various levels of stiffness and flexibility

Why Bind?

Binding requires flexibility and commitment, and act like a “lock” to help you find stability in a pose. In certain postures, it can also help us massage our muscles and internal organs, helping us become our very own healers.

Why balance? Balancing postures in yoga teach us how to focus, build strength, find our center of gravity and equilibrium. Trust, slow down, and find a sense of calm and stillness despite what is going on around us.

Why Bend? Backbends and heart opening poses are good to elongate the spine, improve posture and flexibility, stretch the front of the body, open up tight shoulders, reduce stress and anxiety, provide emotional release.

Some of the postures we will study include:

  • Dhanurasana (Bow pose)

  • Natarajasana (Dancer)

  • Rajakapotasana (King Pigeon)

  • Kapuasana (Crescent moon)

  • Bharadvajasana (Seated warrior)

  • Vashistasana (Side plank)

  • Pavitra Suriya Yantrasana (compass pose)

What to bring to the class:

Valentines Heart Opening Workshop

This workshop is designed to open the upper back, the chest and the heart area for self-care and love.

On the more subtle level, we will let go of the armor we put on every day to face the world. Working towards allowing ourselves to feel honest about who we are and our vulnerabilities and, above all, responding to all this with kindness and love to ourselves and others.

We will focus mainly on asanas (postures) practice, but will also include partner poses and a short heart opening meditation.

By opening the front of the body backbends have amazing benefits some of which include: Opening the chest, shoulders, and hip flexors, increase mobility in the spine and rejuvenating your body, mind, and spirit.

After the workshop we will have a mini Ayurvedic cooking class and tasting, preparing Vegan milk masala and making unique Ayurvedic milk recipe to enjoy after the class. Bring a small glass jar to take some milk masala with you as a gift. All included in the class price.

I’ve discovered people put up with a lot of discomfort or pain because they assumed it was normal and unavoidable. Our everyday lives are stressful, and we hold all that stress in our bodies. Through my experience with pilates, I have watched people’s bodies strengthen, loosen, realign, and rejuvenate. Our bodies are meant to feel good and it is possible even if you’ve been injured. Pilates is an amazing body work method that builds up your body in a balanced, safe way. The word “ kirtan” also stems from a Sanskrit root that means “to cut through”, so kirtan is a practice for cutting through idea of separation, for connecting to our hearts and connecting to the moment through sound.  Kirtan Krija exercise utilizes the primal sounds- and is meant to be practiced for greater attention, concentration, focus, improved short term memory, and better mood. In this class, we will be Introducing a variety of grains and legumes and their nutritional benefits as we learn about...

  • Soaking and Fermentation techniques of beans and grains.
  • How to prepare them for optimal nutrition and digestibility, broadening your diet.
  • The importance of fermented grains and legumes in your diet for digestive and immune health as well as the history behind these superfoods

We will learn how to prepare a variety of dishes will be demonstrating how you can incorporate these foods into your everyday dishes.

Original recipes, new spice discoveries and samples and food tasting are all include in your workshop price

Ayurvedic Cooking Class: Summer Foods & Spices

Summer is here and so is the heat, but we aren't breaking a sweat! This month we are learning about cooling spices and how we can introduce them to our meals! We will be making and taking home cooling spice masala (mixture) and learning about the healing qualities of new and old ingredients. Some of the delicious recipes we will be learning will include:

  • Delicious eggplant/pomegranate rolls
  • Cleansing beet soup
  • Mouth watering watermelon salad
  • Divine avocado/strawberry dessert.
